Dating the Bottle.
It was with nervous hands that I unrolled the piece of paper, something that could have last been touched by Sauniere, the priest of Rennes-le-Chateau..
A 3-Part Key design has been drawn at the top of the page. Each section is numbered. The Star of David design is in part 1. This design also appears on side 1 of the document along with the number 1. This is to indicate that this is the first part of a 3 part message.
Through the glass we could see a piece of paper with writing on, and a signature. Could this be message from the past?

As I knew nothing about bottle history or manufacture, I turned to the web to do a search. Surprisingly there were many website's on this subject. I found one of particular use as it had instructions on how do date bottles.
The Bottle was opened at the Rennes Group meeting in Glastonbury.
By following the clues embedded in Sauniere's Demon and Angel statue that greets you as you first enter the small Rennes-le-Chateau church, I discovered the first of the many clues I was to find over the coming years.
