• These postcards have been reproduced from the best examples of the Saunière postcards seen to date and are now available to purchase as a complete set of 33

• Postcard Size is approx 108 mm x 166 mm and like the originals are in Black & White

• Although not as important as the images on the front, Saunière's postcard notice he placed on the back is reproduced in French and English on the reverse side of the postcards -
  

• This is the first time for almost 100 years that this complete set of 33 Rennes-le-Château postcards offered here have been available for purchase

• The original postcards were printed just over 100 years ago around 1907

• The postcards feature images of Saunière’s Rennes-le-Château domain, the Château, and some nearby views

• The postcards sold for 10ct and seemed to have been place for sale in various places in and around Rennes-le-Château, including the nearby village of Rennes-les-Bains, where Saunière seemed to have done a brisk trade in selling them to visitors come to bathe in the thermal waters located there. He comments in a letter to a friend that: “All the bathers take the complete collection. The cards have so much success that I can hardly keep up supplying them"

The postcards were purchased in an album from someone living near to Rennes-le-Chateau.
